Megatel Rewards is a loyalty program available through the MyMegatel App (“App”). With Megatel Rewards, you can earn points (“Points”) through various activities, such as timely bill payments or completing activities within the App. You can then redeem these points as cashback to pay your bill.

Megatel Refer A Friend allows eligible Megatel customers who participate in Megatel Rewards to earn Points and redeem rewards by referring friends to join Megatel. If you (“Referrer”) meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Megatel Rewards Terms and Conditions and these Terms, you can earn Points each time someone (“Referee”) joins Megatel using your unique referral link.

1. What is Refer A Friend?
Our Refer A Friend Program is open to Megatel customers who are using any of our services, participate in Megatel Rewards and refer their friends to join Megatel using their referral link in the App.
You can earn Points for each friend who successfully becomes a Megatel customer using your referral link with the referred promotion, and in accordance with these Terms.
Points are awarded for each successful referral who becomes a Megatel customer through your referral link and meets the referral promotion conditions.

2. Who will be eligible for Referral?

• a) Only new customers are eligible, meaning that they must not have an existing account with Megatel, and the property should not have been used/connected by Megatel for the previous 6 months.
• b) The Referee must not have another Megatel account at a different address, and self-referrals are not permitted.
• c) Only new connections or transitions from other service providers qualify. Rejoining, re-contracting, or ownership changes are not eligible.

3. How It Works - Earning Points

• a) Applications by a Referee must be submitted online, either through the referral link or by using your referral code.
• b) You can earn Points under our Refer A Friend Program if the Referee successfully signs up with Megatel using your unique referral link provided in the App with the referred promotion.
• c) The number of Points you can earn from time to time will be specified in the App. There is no limit to the number of referrals, but the Referee must be a new customer to us.

4. When will I receive Points?Points earned through the Refer A Friend Reward will be credited to your Megatel Rewards balance in the App upon:

• a) Successful Referral: The Referee must successfully join Megatel as a new customer via our online joining process using your referral link or code.
• b) Points Per Service: Points are awarded for each service the Referee signs up for.
• c) Points Review: Points for each service are subject to periodic review and may be updated. Points awarded could differ from those advertised at the time of referral.
• d) Pending Status: Points will initially be marked as pending when your Referee’s application is submitted.
• e) Earned: The Referee’s service with Megatel must be active for a minimum of three months before your Points are earned. Points will be updated to “Earned” after this period.
• f) Cancellation: Megatel Rewards may be cancelled if the Referee’s service with Megatel is cancelled, withdrawn, or is inactive in the three months following the Referee successfully joining Megatel.

4. Other Terms

• a) Points you earn for a referral cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another Megatel account, or sold, assigned, or transferred to any person for cash or any other form of consideration.
• b) Megatel reserves the right to revoke any Points issued to you on reasonable grounds, such as you being involved in fraudulent activity or any form of dishonest behaviour, your account being in arrears or your breach of these Terms or the Megatel Rewards Terms and Conditions.
• c) Megatel reserves the right to modify or remove these Terms or the Megatel Rewards Terms and Conditions at its discretion.
• d) These Terms should be read in conjunction with Megatel Rewards Terms and Conditions, General Terms and Conditions and any additional terms and conditions that apply specifically to the services that you use.
